Trent Hodkinson considered quitting rugby league
New Blues State of Origin half-back Trent Hodkinson has revealed he seriously considered quitting football during dark times two years ago.
Called up on Tuesday for his Origin debut in next week’s interstate opener, the Canterbury playmaker has rebounded emphatically from a grim 2012.
Back then, injury had him stuck in reserve grade and wondering where his career was headed as the Bulldogs surged to the NRL grand final.
