COREY Parker has labelled Matt Scott “the new Shane Webcke’’, as the Queensland enforcer prepares to take his rampaging club form into the Origin arena.
Scott enters the series opener on Wednesday night in career-best form, having charged for more than 200m in consecutive weeks against the Broncos and Roosters.
At 28, Scott is now Queensland’s front-row leader and the man former Test warhorse Petero Civoniceva groomed to spearhead the Maroons pack.
