Tate ready for Tupou aerial assault
QUEENSLAND veteran Brent Tate is readying himself for an aerial assault unlike any he has ever experienced, tipping the Blues to exploit the debutant winger he’s compared to former Maroons high flyer Israel Folau.
Tate, 32, will oppose Blues rookie Daniel Tupou next week and while the Queenslander has all the experience in the world, few in the game can match the young Sydney Rooster and his impressive vertical leap.
“I definitely can’t jump like Tupou that’s for sure,” Tate said.
