Among the Origin banter and the jokes aimed at NSW is that little voice inside every diehard Queenslander saying ‘one day’.
As Queensland intend to make it an unprecedented nine wins in a row in 2014, New South Wales will attempt to switch gears from its ole stubborn ways to break a trend that has engulfed south of the border since 2006.
Queensland is often paraphrased as the more passionate and perhaps the most influential of the two cultures as the Maroons hunger in unrivalled.
Is it merely a coincidence that Queensland has won eight series in a row or is their culture that has turned success into a habit?
