THE QRL has publicly called on Maroons fans to save the 100th State of Origin game from the sight of empty seats at Suncorp Stadium, with almost 10,000 tickets still unsold.
The QRL and NRL is almost a week into an impromptu marketing campaign to emphasise to the public that the May 28 game is not its customary sellout of more than 52,000 tickets.
